Easy Sausage & Cabbage Skillet
Notes
You can always experiment with your choice of sausage, however I really loved the result using Oscar Mayer Selects Natural. Regardless of the brand you choose, remember to always use nitrite/nitrate free!
Ingredients
- ¼ cup salted butter

- uncured beef sausage (Oscar Mayer
- Selects Natural is best), sliced
- 1 tsp. fennel seeds
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped

- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 small head cabbage, cored & chopped
- 1 14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- ¼ tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 8 oz. package shredded mozzarella
