Still need to stock up on holiday food and gather stocking stuffers to gift those who made your nice list? Then run, run Rudolph to your local TJ’s…because ’tis the season to visit Trader Joes.
Has anyone seen the new Social Media Corner in-store? I think it’s pretty cool. In case you haven’t noticed, Trader Joe’s has gained quite the cult following over the last few years…I too am guilty as charged. Love that the infamous Apple Cider Donuts & Winter Wassail made the wall.
Here’s a handful of exceptional offerings available while supplies last.
Trader Joe’s Turkey Cranberry Meatballs
I am so delighted at the return this year of these amazing meatballs. There are six bags in my freezer as we speak. I plan to stock up at every shopping trip until the inevitable disappearance.
These tasty balls are delightful to eat and the fact that they make a quick dinner anytime doesn’t hurt either. Think of the turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce from Thanksgiving dinner all rolled up into a handy, bite-sized orb with amazing flavor. Bake for 35 minutes & enjoy for yourself!
Trader Joe’s Winter Wassail
“A Spiced Holiday Libation” – I love the attention grabbing verbiage on this beverage of Christmas. The unique, spiced punch was concocted exclusively for TJ’s.
Fill your mug with a a blend of black current, apple and lemon juices spiced with cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, cardamom, ginger and orange peel. Just as joyful whether served chilled, warmed or spiked.
Trader Joe’s Chocolate Lava Gnocchi
When I saw this product in the freezers, I was quite surprised and a little hesitant to buy. But all doubts disappeared once the gnocchi hit the skillet.
This dessert gnocchi was interesting, complex & delicious. The chewy texture and chocolatey- rich lava core made it a palate pleaser. Top with vanilla ice cream & feel indulged.
Trader Joe’s Molasses Cookies
The box describes these molasses-laced cookies perfectly – soft, chewy & sprinkled with sugar. Personally, I love ’em! Great to grab as snack or meal-ender.
Molasses-ridden baked goods always remind me of the holidays. You can find the 12ct package in the “bakery” section. Transfer to a decorative plate and present as a hostess gift or bring to this year’s office pot luck – everyone will think they are homemade (wink, wink) Happy Holidays!
Trader Joe’s Advent Calendar for Dogs /Turkey & Cranberry Dog Treats
I love how Trader Joe’s comes up with fun, seasonal treats for both humans & doggies. I think the Advent Calendar is especially unique, providing salmon & sweet potato treats for every day. If that doesn’t get Fido in the Christmas spirit, I don’t know what will.
Turkey & Cranberry Recipe Dog Treats are another great seasonal offering for your fur baby.
Also, I hear, as of this writing, that another doggie delight has hit shelves – Organic Nice & Naughty Dog Treats. Apparently, each bone-shaped biscuit is stamped with either “Naughty” or “Nice”. How cute is that?
Trader Joe’s Body Butter Trio
This is absolutely the perfect stocking stuffer for all the ladies on your list. If you are a fan of the Pumpkin Body Butter (which quickly vanished until next October), then you will simply adore this trio & put one in your stocking too. All three scents – Frosted Berry, Almond Honey & Lemon Verbena – smell divine while providing your skin with much needed hydration.
Jingle all the way down to your local Trader Joes to grab these and so many other seasonal delights. A Merry Christmas to all…and to all a goodnight!
